For the family there are numerous beaches within a 10 minute drive and a wildlife park within 5 minutes. The beaches offer a wide range of activities from jet skis to quad bikes and with Benidorm a 35 minute drive away there are theme parks and water parks within easy reach.
If a peaceful break is more your thing you could stay by the pool and BBQ locally caught fish whilst enjoying the amazing views and tranquility. A short drive inland are some beautiful villages within the famous Jalon valley which provides great walks for the nature lover in an area where wild flowers mingle with orange, almond and olive trees and the villages remain totally unspoilt.
Denia Town
The nearest town, Denia, is an attractive castle town set in an area described by the World Health Organisation as "one of the healthiest living environments in the world".
The town has a wealth of good quality shops, bars and restaurants offering a wide range of international and Spanish cuisine. There are regular local fiestas when the town bursts into a riot of music, fireworks and spectacular street parades. There's also the busy seafront, with its many bars and nightlife, and the bustling fishing and ferry port, where you can catch a boat to any of the Balearic Islands.
